what you'll need

you'll want a couple things to be content this 2 week session, but it's a short list!

1. flash drive

2. digital camera w/download cord

you're not in highschool anymore! here are a couple of things to be aware of:

1. take a break when you need to

2. don't ask if you need the bathroom

3. talk with your neighbors

4. answer your cell outside - once a class is ok

5. don't wear headphones - your neighbors won't talk to you

6. no food or drink in the studio

7. ask me your questions, and ask your neighbors too

8. i will always repeat something, slower & louder if you need it

convert to jpg in illustrator

To convert, go to the File menu and select Export. In the popup, change Format to .jpg - it defaults to .png so you need to change it.

Change resolution to 'high' for 300dpi images.

Sometimes the image has too much negative space - not what you intended. Go back to Illustrator and select all (command a) to see what your image includes; frequently you'll see a stray mark you made by accident. Delete those extra marks and export again.
